  • blank blank
Description:

This data set was acquired with a towed Nikon Coolpix 995 Digital Camera on TowCam during Atlantis expedition AT15-15 conducted in 2007 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Timothy Shank; Investigator(s): Dr. Daniel Fornari). These data files are of JPEG Image format and include Photograph data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: Integrated Studies of Biological Community Structure at Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents, IDEA: Coupling Communication Technology with in Situ Voltammetric Analyzers for Real Time and Unattended Monitoring of Biogeochemically Relevant Chemical Species, and Collaborative Research: MIP: Physiology and molecular ecology of thermophilic nitrate-reducing microorgansisms at deep-sea hydrothermal vents,r and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): MCB04-56676, OCE03-08398, and OCE03-27353. This data was cited by Fundis et al., 2010. http://datadiscoverystudio.org/geoportal/rest/metadata/item/98142ff93bcb42b28afc34a653d89ea6/html
